BMW Automatic Gearboxes Tuning

Unlock the true potential of your BMW's automatic gearbox with professional TCU remapping from CSC Motors. While your BMW's factory gearbox software is designed for general use, our specialist tuning allows us to unleash a level of performance, control, and responsiveness that truly transforms your driving experience. Discover smoother shifts, faster acceleration, and a connection with your car you never thought possible.

What is BMW Gearbox Remapping?

Gearbox (TCU - Transmission Control Unit) remapping optimises the software that controls your BMW's automatic transmission. This involves adjusting various parameters, including shift points, torque limits, clutch pressures, and shift speeds. Our expert calibration ensures your gearbox works in perfect harmony with your engine, delivering power more efficiently and precisely.

Key Benefits of BMW Gearbox Remapping:

Lightning-Fast & Smoother Shifts: Experience significantly quicker gear changes, particularly under spirited driving, reducing power loss between shifts. Simultaneously, enjoy enhanced smoothness for everyday cruising, making your daily commute more refined.
Optimised Torque Management: Our remapping fine-tunes how the gearbox handles engine torque, allowing more power to be delivered to the wheels more effectively, especially during hard acceleration. This maximises the gains achieved from any engine remap.
True Manual Mode Control: Gain full, uninhibited control over gear selection in manual mode. Eliminate unwanted automatic up-shifts at redline, allowing you to hold gears for maximum power and control.
Enhanced Drivability & Responsiveness: Feel a more direct connection between your foot and the road. The gearbox will respond more intuitively to your driving style, providing a more engaging and sporty feel.
Improved Launch Performance: Benefit from optimised launch control (where applicable), delivering a more consistent and powerful acceleration from a standstill.
Reduced Gearbox Wear (with proper use): By optimising clutch pressures and shift points, the transmission can operate more efficiently, potentially reducing stress on components when driven appropriately.

"Booked in for a Stage 1 Remap.. car was too low for the dyno so was road tuned.. the guys were excellent, every question I asked about the process was answered. Everything was explained to me and shown to me on screen as it was happening. Afterwards the car pulls really well and holds the power high into the rev range. Overall highly satisfied with the service received, the lads are extremely knowledgeable and friendly so would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a proper custom remap."
