At CSC Motors, our relationship with the Griffin badge is personal. Between our lead technicians, Scott and Craig, we’ve owned and built a variety of Insignias, GSIs and VXRs. Our passion for the platform was born at Santa Pod’s Performance Vauxhall Show and has been refined through years of daily tuning in our Glenrothes workshop. We don’t just know the software; we know the hardware—from the fragile oil pickup seals on the A20 to the heat-management requirements of a Z20LEH.
Generic tuning files often ignore the nuances of the Vauxhall ME7.6.2 and ME1.5.5 ECU systems found in the VXR & GSI platform. We provide custom-written calibrations tailored to your exact hardware. Whether you’re running a standard K04 or a high-flow Pulsar Turbo, our tuning focuses on safe fueling, optimised ignition timing, and managed torque delivery. All this tailored to how you want your car to drive. Alongisde the Z20LEx platform, we have tuned a number of 1.4T cars to optimse the performance while staying within the safety limits.
You will notice we do not offer tuning services for the Corsa VXR. This is a deliberate professional choice. Due to the high failure rate and inherent engine reliability issues of the 1.6T platform, we have chosen to focus our expertise on the Astra, Insignia, and Zafira platforms where we can offer a reliable result for our customers. We value your vehicle's longevity more than a quick sale.
For the A20 and Z19 diesel platforms, there is no name more respected than 'TP Remapping' and their Teapot Remap. As Fife’s authorised TP Remapping partner, we bring these brilliant diesel calibrations to our Glenrothes HQ. TP Remapping specialises in transforming the A20DTH and Z19DTH engines found in the Insignia and Astra. Their Teapot software doesn't just chase peak BHP; it prioritises a massive, usable torque curve while optimizing fuel efficiency. We also provide integrated software solutions for EGR, DPF, and AdBlue failures—fixing the problems that the dealer can’t.

VXR Expertise
As specialists in the Z20LEx range (Bosch ME1.5.5 & Bosch ME7.6.2), we provide bespoke tuning software for everything from stock internals to fully forged monsters. Our software is written in-house and are data-driven.
